RiBBS Module Load Errors

Just because a source code file loads into Basic09's editor without errors does not mean the code is completely accurate. The following documents the errors generated upon load into Basic09's editor only. As documented elsewhere on this site using connect and elapsed, even one that does load without error is not necessarily complete or whole.

Some of these errors are due to parsing errors in decode. Many are due to incomplete record structures, incorrectly DIM'd STRING variables and other variable dimensioning issues. These errors are compile errors only. I have not yet made attempts to correct errors or look at errors in decode. I did this as a means of seeing how many issues there are just within RiBBS that decode must deal with before I can call it good. It (decode) is good enough to get it in unpack. Then I can worry about refinement and error-correcting. This list shows me what work lies ahead. If anyone is interested in following this work, I will soon have a new RiBBS Archives vhd image available for download. It includes all of the files generated by decode for each module decoded. Periodically I will update the image to reflect the modules I have covered and what corrections there are to those source output files.
